Just before semester holidays, Seyithan’s teacher assigns each student one of the ‘Tales of the Thousand and One Nights’. Seyithan doesn’t like to study and is not really interested with what the teacher has asked him to do. One night, he is bored and starts to look through the pictures in the book.

Mahsum Taskin
Mahsum Taskin graduated in Medicine from Cerrahpaşa University in Istanbul. He attended cinema classes in SAKM, Nar Film and Mesopotamian Cinema Collective. After he worked in various film projects, he wrote and directed his first short film ‘The Thousand and One Nights’.
