When Oopjen – a character from one of Rembrandt’s most famous paintings – comes to life and tries to find her missing sister, 12-year-old Jackie decides to help her. Oopjen discovers a world completely unknown to her, and Jackie wins a true friend.

For many years, Annemarie worked as an assistant director and script supervisor. Since 1999, she has been directing her own films and series, as well as episodes of drama series. ‘Jackie and Oopjen’ is her first feature film.
