Ben Sombogaart
A 1973 graduate of the Netherlands Film and Television Academy. Working as a freelance director, Sombogaart made many documentary films both in the Netherlands and abroad. Since 1981, he originated and directed a number of TV-series and feature films. His films received many awards. The feature film ‘Twin Sisters’ was nominated for an Oscar and the feature film and TV series ‘The Penknife’ received an Emmy Award. ‘My Father Lives in Rio’ and ‘The Boy Who Stopped Talking’ were both awarded the First Prize at the Berlin Kinderfilmfest.
Anne Schultka
She started her job as project manager at KIDS Regio in April 2018. She holds an MA in Media Management and a BA in Intercultural Studies, Psychology and Economy. Prior to her work at KIDS Regio, she was an assistant at both the German Children’s Media Foundation and the German Children’s Film Association as well as research assistant at Bauhaus-University.
